Permanent Makeup: Wake up & Ready To Go

Massage, Facial, Permanent makeup eyebrows, Microblading, Ombre, Eyeliner

Please reach us at lifemassages@yahoo.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo technique that involves using tiny, fine-point needles that make up a small, disposable blade. The needle finely scratches the surface of the skin, creating featherweight strokes on the epidermis layer of the skin.

The technique creates thin, crisp lines giving the illusion of realistic, natural hair strokes. With this technique, our artists can create a natural light finish to a bold brow look.

Microshading is the newest trend in eyebrow semi-permanent makeup, which is constantly evolving in technique. It combines both Microblading and Shading, creating the best of both worlds! In addition to our signature Microblading pattern, the Shading method is similar to a traditional tattoo, which uses an application of tiny dots of pigment that is inserted into the skin. This method creates the soft, feathery headstrokes of Microblading and the fullness and definition of Shading.

This technique can be fully customized for anyone who wants the fluffiness of Microblading and the dimension of Shading. Once healed, it creates a natural, yet defined brow.

The ombré powder fill method is more similar to a traditional tattoo, and involves the application of thousands of tiny dots of pigment, inserted into the skin, gradually building up a colour and defined shape.

If you are someone with oily or combination skin, or who fills in your brows regularly with pencil or shadow, then this is the method for you! It mimics the look of filled in brows, without all the effort each morning.

    • Must not have a skin condition on or near your eyebrows. This includes eczema, shingles, rashes, keloid or anything else near eyebrows.

    • If you have a pre-existing eyebrow tattoo or permanent makeup. The tattoo or permanent makeup must be light enough for us to draw hair strokes. We ask anyone with a previous eyebrow tattoo to send us an email with a picture of their eyebrows with no makeup on, so we can evaluate.
      Email brow photos to: lifemassages@yahoo.com

    • Must not be allergic to alcohol, nickel or numbing agents. If you think you might have an allergy to our ink, numbing cream, or alcohol (which is in the ink), then you may have a reaction to our work. We suggest you to schedule a patch test to ensure you have no reactions.

    • Clients must be the age of 18+ to proceed with an appointment.

    • Must not be diabetic, anemic or have any blood deficiencies.

    • If you are prone to post-inflammatory hypo-pigmentation. (Please schedule patch test to see if you are eligible.)
    • If you are vegan, vegetarian, or pescatarian, must submit blood work to show iron levels are normal.

    • If you are prone to keloids. (Please schedule a patch test to see if you are eligible to receive the procedure.)

    • Those with a blood disease such as HIV or Hepatitis are suggested not to proceed with the procedure. Due to difficulties of the body being able to fight infections, it would be in your best interest not to move forward with a procedure. Semi-permanent will cause numerous of injuries to the skin during ink application, so it will be a high risk of infection.

    • If you are going through chemotherapy. (Although the procedure is great for restoring eyebrows, a clearance letter is required by your doctor.)

    • Must NOT be pregnant or breastfeeding (must be done breastfeeding for at least 90 days before the procedure.)

To ensure you are an eligible canvas for your procedure, you must follow all pre-care instructions. Failure to follow pre-care instructions will affect the outcome of your final results.

    • 30 DAYS BEFORE:
Avoid botox, skin exfoliants, laser or chemical peels.

    • 2 WEEKS BEFORE:
Avoid tweezing, waxing, electrolysis, retinol and coloring your brows

    • 72 HOURS BEFORE:
Avoid ALL Blood thinners; Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Caffeine (coffee & tea), Smoking, Alcohol, Soda, boba, Niacin, Vitamin E, Advil, Fish Oil, etc.

    • MENSTRUAL CYCLE:
Please note that if you are on your menstrual cycle during the appointment, you will be more sensitive during the procedure due to hormones.

Temporary side effects from Micropigmentation include but are not limited to: redness, swelling, puffiness, bruising, dry patches & tenderness. Though rare, infection is possible if aftercare is not handled correctly and cautiously. If you see signs of infection such as persistent increased redness, swelling, fever, drainage or oozing, contact your doctor immediately.

    • Stay out of the sun for 24 hours after your session. YOU Must wear a hat if you decide to be outdoors.

    • Do not sleep on your side until brows have fully shed.

    • When the area starts to flake, leave it. Do not pick, peel, or pull on the skin.
    • *Note: If you accidentally scratch or pick at your scabs, it will pull out your ink and will result in an empty spot of a couple of strokes missing.

    • After 24 hours apply a thin coat of A+D OINTMENT with a q-tip morning and night for 7 days or until you use all the ointment in the container. Must apply once more before you shower.

    • Avoid sweating for 7 days.

    • Must keep brows dry.

    • Use a washcloth to wash your face to better control any contact with liquid substance.

During your 2nd session, your artists will go over the strokes they had applied during your 1st session and deposit more ink to extend the longevity. Additional strokes may also be added to give your brows more dimension.

For new members to Nanoblading, it will take 2 sessions to complete your desired brows and ensure longevity. For Example: When applying nail polish, you need least 2-3 coats to achieve a solid color.

    When should I book it?

You may book your 2nd Session 6-8 weeks after your 1st session appointment.

Please note: If you decide to come back for a second session past 12 weeks of your initial session, this may result in faded strokes, which may result in additional charges due to extra work that may be needed. It is your responsibility to schedule your second session appointment.

After my 2nd session, when will I need another touch up?

If you want to keep your brows maintained, you can come back every 12-18 months from your last appointment. If you decide not to proceed with a touch-up, your brows will last around 2 years and will eventually fade away. Longevity will vary per lifestyle and skin type.

Nanoblading touch-ups are similar to getting root touch-ups for your hair. If you go when your Nanoblading first starts fading, you can simply have the color filled in. But if you wait longer than your artist recommends, you may have to have the whole Nanoblading procedure completed again.

Since Microblading pigments are not implanted into the skin as deep as traditional tattoos, the area will naturally fade over time. The microblading results can last anywhere between 1-2 years depending on skin type, lifestyle, age and how often you get touch-ups.

Your skincare routine will also have an effect on the longevity of the pigment. Patients who tan, use chemical peels or products with AHA or Glycolic Acid will fade faster as your skin will resurface faster.

Lip blush is the newest semi-permanent trend that enhances the natural lip shape with a boost of symmetry and color. It is an extremely popular treatment that defines lip contours and adds a natural flush to your lip color. This treatment delivers very natural results once healed.

Pigments are available in all different shades to match all lips to provide a subtle color that enhances the natural lip color and camouflages scars, paleness or unevenness.

Our goal at Séduire Salon is to provide all our clients with the utmost natural outcome. Our signature technique uses a small needle and works softly on the lips to gently deposit color without creating a heavy lip-line /border appearance. Colors are chosen for the client's desired results and skin tones.

Lip blushing can last between two to three years depending on the client's body, skin type and lifestyle. Smoking and sun exposure can speed up the fading process, and if you’re oil-prone, have an iron deficiency or use a lot of exfoliating products in your skin regimen, the pigment could fade more quickly, too.

Lip Blushing requires two sessions for the desired color and results. During the first session, the main goal is to neutralize the lips so it is even in color. During the second session, another layer of color is added for color results and longevity.

FAILURE TO FOLLOW PRE-CARE INSTRUCTIONS MAY AFFECT THE OUTCOME OF YOUR FINAL RESULTS.

The mouth is a breeding ground for bacteria, which means there is high risk of infection when getting the lip blush procedure done. Avoid eating & drinking for at least 5 hours after your appointment. Do not drink tap water.

    • Rinse your mouth with antiseptic mouthwash at least 4 times a day until you are done healing. Be sure to rinse after eating/drinking.

    • Do not eat spicy, oily, acidic or greasy foods. Do not stretch lips to take large bites.

    • Once shedding begins, do not pick, peel or pull the skin.

    • Do not use saline water as it will cause ink to be pulled from the skin.

    • Apply ointment several times a day for 10 days to keep lips moisturized. Do not rub- dab.

    • Avoid getting lips wet. Apply the ointment before brushing teeth.

    • Do not use any soaps/chemicals on your lips. Be careful when washing your face. Use a washcloth to better control any liquid substance.

    • Use a minimal amount of non-whitening toothpaste. Use a straw when swishing water.

    • Do not expose lips to direct sunlight/tanning beds. Since this is new skin, it’s prone to sunburn, which could change the color and cause scarring.

    • Do not smoke or kiss for at least 10 days.

    • Keep your hands clean and avoid touching your lips until they are done healing.
